What will you make today?

A shape to match, a tower to balance, a scene to piece together. Choose the activity first, then look at the parts that make it work. The wooden collection includes sorting, stacking and building objects; the puzzles move from a compact coastal scene to a larger moonlit garden. Each product record keeps the material, footprint and intended age guidance together, so you can compare like with like rather than choosing by a picture alone.

The wooden parts inventory

Removable pieces belong in the decision, not just in the box. The Harbour sorter pairs six shapes with matching openings and a removable lid. Orchard rings make a decreasing sequence around a rounded post. The train combines a locomotive and two detachable wagons without magnets. Balance Bridge Blocks offers arches, columns and beams for open-ended constructions. Garden Peg Board uses a four-by-four field. Read the individual record before selecting: these are different activities, not interchangeable versions of one toy.

Follow the puzzle scale

Piece count and finished size answer different questions. A larger count can make sorting and assembly a longer task; the finished rectangle tells you how much clear surface the completed scene needs. Coastal Birds has 48 pieces across 300 × 220 mm. Garden at Dusk has 100 pieces across 400 × 300 mm. Woodland Paths moves to 250 pieces, Harbour Geometry to 500, and Night Garden to 1000. Do not assume equal piece sizes across the collection. Compare the exact measurements and age guidance on each product page.

Make room for the loose pieces

Start with a clear table or floor area. For a puzzle, mark the stated finished width and height with a ruler, then leave extra room around that rectangle for unplaced pieces. For a building activity, allow space beyond the packaged footprint: a bridge or train may be laid out in more than one arrangement. The listed dimensions describe the goods, not the entire play area. Keep loose parts away from the table edge and choose a surface that can remain clear while the activity is in progress.

Materials, finish and supervision

Beech parts, birch plywood and printed cardboard have different handling needs. Check the material and construction fields rather than assuming all wooden products share a finish. Keep every removable part together and review the intended age guidance. The toys list age 3+; puzzle guidance varies by product. An age field is not a safety certification. Adults should supervise play and consider whether the actual pieces are appropriate for the intended user. Never treat the rounded appearance of a part as evidence of suitability for younger children.

A gift with a place to live

When choosing for someone else, think about where the activity will happen and where the parts will be kept afterwards. A compact finished puzzle and a long coupled train need different spaces. Check the listed box or pack dimensions when these are provided, but do not substitute them for the finished play footprint. Keep the product name and selected SKU with any question, so we can discuss the exact item rather than a similar-looking object.

From shelf to request

  1. Open a record and review its physical details.
  2. Add the available item and quantity to your bag.
  3. Enter contact details and save an order request.

Your bag can be changed before you submit. Checkout shows the product subtotal; an order request is a way to record your selection for confirmation of the details. The confirmation page gives your actual order reference. Keep that reference if you contact the shop about the request.

Questions from the activity shelf

Does a higher piece count mean a larger puzzle?

Not necessarily. Compare the finished dimensions as well as the count on each record.

Can I choose a toy for a younger child?

Follow the individual age guidance and warnings. No under-three suitability is claimed for the wooden toys.

How do I ask about a particular part?

Send the product name and SKU using the contact links, with your question about its stated material or dimensions.
